Mom to an 11-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl, Leslie has also managed to acquire two decades of experience as a communications specialist.  Since 2006, she has served as editor of a regional parenting magazine. In 2010, 2011 and 2013 she received the Parenting Media Association’s Gold and Silver Awards for Overall Writing. When not writing and editing articles about raising kids, she turns her attention to her own children and tries to put into practice all that she’s learned; only occasionally is she greeted with rolling eyes.
